Warrington Light Opera is an amateur operatic society, which was established in 1970. We produce one stage show each year, usually around Easter time. In the autumn we often perform concerts for charitable organisations. Our members come from all walks of life. Some tread the boards and others work backstage as crew, make-up, costumes, front of house and production team. We welcome new members in any capacity and would love to hear from you. Trial by Jury and The Zoo
This year we are pleased to announce our sixth performance at the Barrow Hall Lane Theatre, Great Sankey, where we can continue our tradition of an intimate production without the need for microphones, enhanced by performing 'in the round', thus really bringing 'Trial by Jury' and 'The Zoo' to life.
